WHO ARE WE
Brad Cars is one of the largest Private Hire Taxi operators in the Torridge area. We cover most of the North Devon and North Cornwall areas, with drivers based in Bude, Bideford, Holsworthy, Winkleigh, Hatherleigh, Fremington, Barnstaple and of course Bradworthy. With a large selection of vehicles including 4, 6 & 8 seater vehicles we are confident we can cater to your needs. As well as day to day taxi work, we now operate contracts on behalf of the local authority, school transport & NHS contracts and all our drivers are trained to a high standard. Each one has to complete a driving assessment with Red One and have a BTEC Level 2 - Certificate in Role of the Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver. As well as having undergone an enhanced DBS check they have also been vetted by the local authority.
Our vehicles are all regularly serviced and receive a rigorous taxi test every 3 months, ensuring reliability and safety. We have our own in house cleaning team ensuring vehicles are kept clean and checked regularly
OUR HISTORY
We started Brad Cars in 2015, having worked in the transport industry for over 30 years. As well as driving buses and coaches in the local area for a number of years, we also had experience of driving taxis and buses in the London area, and going on to run a bus garage near the cente of London With just one car no money and operating from our house, we had one simple philosophy, to offer a reliable and professional service, that also offers value for money. And it worked! Eventually we added some more cars, and minibuses to our fleet, and started to take on staff.
OUR HISTORY
Over the last few years we have continued to grow. We carry out school contracts right across the country, and also continue to carry out contracts on behalf of the NHS. We moved to our current premesis back in 2017, allowing us to take care of both the mechanical and the bodywork of our vehicles. Like many businesses we were affected by the pandemic, but our drivers took part in ensuring perscriptions were delivered, and key workers were transported to work. We continue to grow, taking on routes that needed people to escort children to and from school. Our drivers in our opinion are the best there is.
